Advancing the Enemy with Armor

Are you in a prison?
Are you fighting a losing battle against the enemy?
In walks in the intercessor

Slide2

You don’t have to fight on your own
You don’t have to fail any longer
You can’t do it
You can’t muster up the discipline
You can’t muster up the intellect
You can’t muster up the strength
You can’t muster up the perseverance & fortitude

HE can
You can’t love the lost
You can’t love those who spit upon your face
HE can

Don’t pray that GOD would teach you to love like HE loves
Pray that HE would fill you with HIMSELF
Don’t pray that HE would teach you to have joy
Pray that the loving GOD full of joy would enter into you
Don’t pray that HE would teach you to be peaceful
Ask for the GOD of PEACE, the Prince of Peace to infill you

Because if you try and imitate in your own strength
You will be a miserable replica
But if you allow the impartation of Jesus Christ
To overtake you
Suddenly it all works
Because its HIM imitating HIMSELF
And HE’S very good at being GOD

When a soldier would go into battle, he would wear a tunic. And prior to the battle he would take that up from his legs, wrap it around his legs and tie it with his belt. Why? Because when you in hand to hand combat, you do not want garments flowing around your legs that could entangle and cause you to stumble. In the same way, the Believer who does not have a grasp of GOD’S Truth; who does not convictions founded upon the Truth of GOD’S Word, they are going to stumble and fall.
Now, this Belt can mean something else. This is not just a metaphor for battle but for Truth, and sound doctrine. It stands for truth in regard to integrity, sincerity; the very opposite of being hypocrite.

Oh, my dear friend, I want you to know that the devil is like a roaring lion seeking to devour all they he can devour. He walks to and fro on this earth and can spot a hypocrite in a second.
Our goal if we are to stand against him, is to be pure in heart. Let us be likened to what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 5;…to be an Israelite with whom there is no guile.
Someone who is transparent before GOD, who’s transparent before man; who seeks the Truth and seeks to appropriate the truth in his life. A person who seeks to walk in the truth for there is no greater joy.

Then also there’s a Breastplate of Righteousness. Again, now with each one of these metaphors we are open to more than simply one meaning. And I believe much of the Bible is like this! Many times we just look for surface interpretations when GOD intends for us to do so much more than that. HE wants us to search for the Truth as it pertains to the Bible and HIS Word. We are given to discernment when we ask. It’s high time many more of us ask. To be a plain cardboard box is just that, but we are able to give it graphics and color. The Word wants us to color it with love, hope and faith.

The imputed righteous of Jesus Christ! The breastplate is an acknowledgement of exactly that. It does not matter how pious you are, or how Godly one is, we need to fight the devil with just our own strength and power, we would assuredly fail. We are bold, but we stand not with our own virtue and merit but with the virtue and merit of Jesus Christ.
Once the Believer trusts the righteousness of Jesus Christ, it is imputed within him. We literally stand before GOD and GOD treats that Believer as right before HIM. Then, and only then the devil is broken and cannot do anything to that person, to that strong armor.
Our righteousness is ever ebb and flow, it’s mutable. One day I may be bold, and the next reserve. If the devil was to scrutinize my life it wouldn’t take him long to find so many holes in my righteousness but the righteousness of GOD is makes us strong.

Also there’s the Footwear, that our feet are shod with preparation of the Gospel of peace. This has many meanings, but this more important of these are the preparedness of mind, the readiness to respond to GOD’S Will, to follow GOD’S leading. Why? Because this person is begun to understand the peace he has with GOD through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Imagine a person who is not sure about their salvation, who is not sure about whether their guilt, sin and iniquities have been removed. They are burdened down with this huge weight. They cannot serve GOD. They cannot move quickly and joyfully.

They don’t have hope and cannot face the enemy with any boldness because their not sure about anything. But, you remove that and give that person assurance about their acceptance with GOD and you set them free. They will know now that nothing can separate them from the love of GOD, nothing can separate them from Jesus Christ. Their ready to take on any challenge.
Much like a person who is given talent and for fear of losing this talent, he hides it. The Believer is not that way, because he has no fear. Because he knows even if he’s failed, GOD is able to make the change. He’s already made peace with GOD. Not because of his accomplishments but because of GOD’S accomplishments on his behalf.

truth

The Shield of Faith, or the Shield which IS Faith. What is that? The perfect example of that is Matthew 4; the devil spouts out a flaming arrow toward Jesus Christ, and what does He do? He responds with the Word of GOD! He responds in Faith.
The weak in soul, the downtrodden which the devil will come to and say, “God does not love thee.” And the Shield of Faith that deflects that arrow says, ‘Nothing can separate me from the love of GOD.” So it’s believing the Word of GOD, acknowledging the Word of GOD so that you can discern from something that it false and reflect it.
One of the greatest problems in the Christian life, and one of the most useful and greatest tools for bringing healing and counseling is to help Christians identify the lies they’re believing. Destroying those lies, not with carnal weapons but with the Word of GOD.

helmet-of-salvation

The Helmet of Salvation, what is that? The Helmet goes onto the head. The head is where we find the mind. Make no mistake about it the Christian life is a spiritual life and the Christian life is a spiritual battle. But make no mistake about it, it begins in the mind.
What is the devil always trying to do? He is either accusing GOD or accusing GOD toward you, or accusing you before GOD. He’s always telling you things about GOD that is not true. He’s always trying to drive a wedge between you and GOD, so you will not believe HIS love, HIS mercy, HIS compassion and HIS grace. He tries and separates you especially when you sin. When you sin, he drives a wedge…you’ve sinned, your done for. Go over there, don’t come back, GOD doesn’t want you. The Helmet of Salvation protects you from all that. When you have a mature comprehension of what salvation really is, you’re able to withstand those attacks against you mind.

put-on-the-whole-armor-of-god

Now, finally it goes on to the Sword of the Spirit. It’ represents here, the Word of GOD. The Word of GOD is given by the Spirit. IT was breathed out and it is used by the Spirit defensively and offensively.
Defensively, it is when the devil came to Jesus Christ in that mount of temptation, what did Jesus Christ do? He’s the incarnate Son of GOD, but yet He relied upon “IT IS WRITTEN.”
Let’s me ask you saints? How many of you know enough Scripture in your mind? How many of you have guarded enough Scripture in your mind that if you got into face to face, hand to hand battle with the devil, you would be able to respond, “IT IS WRITTEN”?
It’s a defensive weapon, but also it’s an offensive weapon. In what way? When the Bible tells us to stand and resist, as it does in Ephesians chapter 6, that doesn’t mean that’s all we’re suppose to do. We advance. And when the enemy crashes against us, we stand; we hold the ground that’s been given us and we do not give way. We buck at him, we knock him back and then we advance some more.

We have been called to take the Gospel to the world. DO YOU HEAR ME? There are countless, billions of people without Jesus Christ, we have been called to take the Gospel to the world. This is not just you resisting the devil so you can go to Zion when die. This is about fighting the fight, this is about what you were made for. Don’t you understand that!

I was a former waitress for 10 years. There was a time when we didn’t have to declare our tips and then the government wanted a piece of it.
In Canada and Australia 15% tip is included in the bill, so when they come to the United States they forget or don’t know that’s not included here
and forget or don’t leave a tip because of it. No one makes anyone here tip. You’re really not making that much money like they would like you to think.

The generous mystery tipper who has been leaving waiters and waitresses across the country thousands of dollars in “Tips for Jesus” — and stamped with the @tipsforjesus handle — was identified by a New York City waiter as Jack Selby, former PayPal vice president.

Aruj Dhawan, a waiter at Bo’s Kitchen, told the New York Post that Selby and two other patrons gave him a $1,000 tip on a $111.05 bill.

“As I was about to drop the check off, one of the men said they would ‘make my night.’ They called me over, gave me the check,” Dhawan told the Post. “I was amazed … I was just really thankful.”

So were Dhawan’s co-workers: The Chelsea restaurant pools its tips among staffers at the end of the night.

Last week, ValleyWag.com reported that Selby — who made millions on PayPal’s sale to eBay — was behind the big tips.

According to the Post, Bo’s manager, Benjamin Cramer, asked Selby why he tipped so much. “He said, ‘Just because.’ I was told, ‘We tip a hundred times the bill.'”

Bigger tips bearing the “Tips for Jesus” mark were left across Manhattan over the weekend: $3,500 on a $391.95 bill at the Smith near Lincoln Center, and $7,000 on a $2,994.61 check at the NoMad in Midtown.

The anonymous tipping campaign began in September in Ann Arbor, Mich., where a $3,000 tip was left on an $87.88 bill. A day later, a $2,000 tip was left on a $215 meal, then $5,000 on a $214.75 check.

An Instagram account bearing the @tipsforjesus name shows photos of the generous gratuities. Its tagline: “Doing the Lord’s work, one tip at a time.”

    • YEP! Warn others of this twisted book of lies! This is exactly how false doctrine spreads!! Doing research into the Marine Spirits again I came across many people who have been there, under the sea and will attest to the fact of its existence. The world are bleeding into one another! The veil becoming thinner….
Gary thanks for the WARNING!! Everyone needs to understand the false prophets are out there and in droves within the groves.

      Grove-
Heb. ‘asherah, properly a wooden image, or a pillar representing Ashtoreth, a sensual Canaanitish goddess, probably usually set up in a grove ( 2 Kings 21:7 ; 23:4 ). In the Revised Version the word “Asherah” (q.v.) is introduced as a proper noun, the name of the wooden symbol of a goddess, with the plurals Asherim ( Exodus 34:13 ) and Asheroth ( Judges 3:13 ).

The LXX. have rendered asherah in 2 Chronicles 15:16 by “Astarte.” The Vulgate has done this also in Judges 3:7 .
