Worldly “Holidays”

niegu-zima-platki

So, what do we celebrate, and why? Do you know? Or are you in the dark like many people? So many people follow traditions not knowing where they stem from or the reasoning behind them. I remember as a youngster doing silly things like not walking under a ladder, or walking on a crack in the sidewalk thinking it would, “break my mothers back”. So silly, right? This is something I began questioning while a young person. I then realized how many things we do because it flows down generation after generation without question. I stopped doing those crazy things, but as I got older I began thinking how holidays only benefit the rich, making them richer. This is in the same category…traditions that people blindly follow without blinking an eye. Do you wonder what they represent? Let’s investigate…

Christmas Unveiled!

First is Christmas. This worldwide tradition is thought to be a wonderful time, focused on giving, family, beautiful music and decorations, special foods and singing traditional carols. All this is supposedly centered around the worship of Jesus Christ, and His birth on December 25.

But where did Christmas come from? What is the origin of Santa Claus?—mistletoe?—Christmas trees?—holly wreaths?—Yule logs?—and exchanging gifts?

There is no mistaking the source of the modern Christmas celebration. Nearly all aspects of it have their roots in Roman custom and religion. The Encyclopedia Americana reveals: “Christmas was not observed in the first centuries of the Christian church, since the Christian usage in general was to celebrate the death of remarkable persons rather than their birth…a feast was established in memory of this event [Christ’s birth] in the fourth century. In the fifth century the Western church ordered the feast to be celebrated on the day of the Mithraic rites of the birth of the sun and at the close of the Saturnalia, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ’s birth existed,” (emphasis added to quotes throughout the article).

Now the Encyclopaedia Britannica, under “Christmas”: “In the Roman world the Saturnalia (December 17) was a time of merrymaking and exchanging of gifts. December 25 was also regarded as the birth date of the Iranian mystery god Mithra, the Sun of Righteousness. On the Roman New Year (January 1), houses were decorated with greenery and lights, and gifts were given to children and the poor. To these observances were added the German and Celtic Yule rites when the Teutonic tribes penetrated into Gaul, Britain, and central Europe. Food and good fellowship, the Yule log and Yule cakes, greenery and fir trees, gifts and greetings all commemorated different aspects of this festive season. Fires and lights, symbols of warmth and lasting life, have always been associated with the winter festival, both pagan and Christian.”

What could be plainer?

Origin of the Christmas Tree

Where did the Christmas tree come from? Notice: “The Christmas tree is from Egypt, and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christian Era” (Frederic Jennings Haskin, Answers to Questions). How many know the Christmas tree long preceded Christianity?

Most aspects of Christmas are not referred to in the Bible. Of course, the reason is that they are not from God—they are not part of the way He wants people to worship Him. The Christmas tree, however, is mentioned in the Bible!

image004

We know what men think about it. Here is what God says: “Thus says the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven [the stars]; for the heathen are dismayed at them [millions ignore this plain statement of God and read their horoscopes daily]. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree…” (Jer. 10:2-5).

This description is obvious. God directly refers to the Christmas tree as “the way of the heathen.” Just as directly, He commands, “Learn not the way of the heathen,” calling these customs “vain.”

christmas-tree-is-the-serpent-tree-of-enlgihtenment

The most common justification one will hear regarding this holiday is that people have replaced old pagan intents and customs by asserting they are now “Christian.” For instance, many say they are honoring Christ in their Christmas-keeping. The problem is God does not say that keeping this tradition is acceptable to Him! In fact, He plainly commands against it! Christmas-keeping dishonors Christ! You will see God considers everything about it to be an abomination.

Many additional sources and scriptures could be cited. Read my booklet, The True Origin of Christmas. Facts from history and Scripture, when placed together, paint a powerful picture!

Truth About Easter

What about Easter? Since hundreds of millions keep it, supposedly in honor of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection, then surely the Bible must have much to say about it. Many verses must mention rabbits, eggs, baskets of candy, hot cross buns, Lent, Good Friday and sunrise services—not to mention Easter itself.

There is also no mystery about where Easter came from: “On this greatest of Christian festivals, several survivals occur of ancient heathen ceremonies. To begin with, the name itself is not Christian but pagan. ‘Ostara’ was the Anglo-Saxon Goddess of Spring” (Ethel L. Urlin, Festival, Holy Days, and Saints Days).

And notice: “But the name Easter comes to us from Ostera or Eostre…for whom a spring festival was held annually, and it is from this pagan festival that some of our Easter customs have come” (Mary Emogene Hazeltine, Anniversaries and Holidays: A Calendar of Days and How to Observe Them).

Colored eggs have long been associated with the Easter celebration. Nearly every culture in the world does this. Notice: “The origin of the Easter egg is based on the fertility lore of the Indo-European races…The egg to them became a symbol of spring…In Christian times the egg had bestowed upon it a religious interpretation, becoming a symbol of the rock tomb out of which Christ emerged to the new life of His resurrection” (Francis X. Weiser, Handbook of Christian Feasts and Customs). This is a classic example of how pagan symbols and customs are “Christianized”—with Christian-sounding names pasted over pagan customs. Due to this, people feel better about following a custom not found in the Bible.

God never authorized any kind of eggs for religious use—yet people have followed this practice for millennia!

Where did the “Easter bunny” come from?: “The Easter bunny had its origin in pre-Christian fertility lore…[It] has never had religious symbolism bestowed on its festive usage…However, the bunny has acquired a cherished role in the celebration of Easter as the legendary producer of Easter eggs for children in many countries” (James Bonwick, Egyptian Belief and Modern Thought).

But this does not stop people from decorating their lawns and houses with Easter bunnies every spring. Even in modern times, rabbits have remained common symbols of fertility. While their rapid rate of reproduction is well-known, there is a problem—rabbits do not lay eggs! While both are fertility symbols, there is no logical way to connect them. In a world filled with pagan tradition, truth and logic are lost. There is nothing Christian about fertility symbols. Merging sex symbols with Christianity makes an already idolatrous practice worse.

The true history of rabbits and eggs is completely unknown to unsuspecting, trusting little children who are easily led to think these things are special.

It may seem beautiful, religious, and deeply moving to participants, but God has forbidden His people from devising their own religious customs and ideas. He is not interested in what people may personally feel or think is right. He is interested in who cares what He thinks is right! As far as God is concerned, ancient sun worship, dressed up in Easter finery and bonnets, is just modern packaging of a very old, idolatrous pagan custom.

Is it a “light thing” to God that many millions keep Easter?

Jesus, who is God, made a stunning statement—but how many believe it? Notice: “But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” (Matt. 15:9). Christmas, Easter and other holidays are not commands of God, but rather traditions—“commandments”—of men.

Much additional proof—biblical and historical—exists proving Easter is not permitted by God. To learn about the customs surrounding this holiday, read my booklet The True Origin of Easter. You may also wish to read another booklet—Christ’s Resurrection Was Not on Sunday. It explains how and why the incorrect—unbiblical—“Sunday Resurrection” idea came into use as a means of subtly endorsing Sunday-keeping in place of keeping God’s Sabbath.

Valentine’s Day

Next, let’s examine Valentine’s Day, known as the world’s “holiday of love.” Surely, celebrating a festive holiday like Valentine’s is harmless. Surely the God who gives us life, food, drink and the ability to think for ourselves, approves of the holiday for lovers to exchange gifts. Let’s see.

Innocent and harmless as Valentine’s Day may appear, its traditions and customs originate from two of the most sexually perverted pagan festivals of ancient history: Lupercalia and the feast day of Juno Februata. To the Romans, February was sacred to Juno Februata, the goddess of febris (or “fever”) of love—and of women and marriage. On February 14, billets—which were small pieces of paper with the name of a teenage girl written on it—were put into a container. Boys would then choose one billet at random. The boy and the girl whose name was drawn would become a “couple,” joining in erotic games at feasts and parties celebrated throughout Rome. After the festival, they would remain sexual partners for the rest of the year. This custom was observed in the Roman Empire for centuries.

Valentine’s Day—from this Satan-influenced world—is designed to appeal to fleshly, carnal desires—or, as the Bible calls them, the works of the flesh. (Read Galatians 5:19-21.)

Does God want His people partaking of candy and cards, or any customs associated with this day? Does He approve of this? Notice how specific was His warning to ancient Israel—and why His warning! “When the Lord your God shall cut off the nations from before you…and you succeed them, and dwell in their land; take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them…and that you enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise. You shall not do so unto the Lord your God: for every abomination to the Lord, which He hates, have they done unto their gods…” (Deut. 12:29-31).

Read and reread this passage until it sinks in.

Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day are all attempts to “whitewash” customs and observances of pagan gods and idols by “Christianizing” them. For more, read our thorough article The Truth Behind St. Valentine’s Day.

What About New Year’s?

Now let’s examine New Year’s. What could be wrong with celebrating the start of the upcoming year? What’s wrong with “ringing out the old and bringing in the new”? The truth will surprise you!

The Bible reveals, “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” (I Cor. 14:33). The Greek word used for “confusion” also means instability, disorder, commotion and tumult—words that perfectly describe New Year’s history, which is as confusing and chaotic as the holiday itself. For thousands of years, men kept changing the beginning of their New Year from spring to fall—from March 1 to January 1—and in some cases, December 25—back to March 25—then to January 1 again!

Notice: “January 1 was restored as New Year’s Day by the Gregorian calendar (AD 1582), immediately adopted by Roman Catholic countries. Other countries slowly followed suit: Scotland, 1660; Germany and Denmark, about 1700; England, 1752; Sweden, 1753; and Russia, 1918” (Encyclopaedia Britannica).

Even today, nations cannot agree on this date. Notice: “Chinese New Year is celebrated officially for a month beginning in late January or early February” (ibid.). Also notice this quote: “The Muslim New Year falls on the first day of the month of Muharram and commemorates the date of the Hegira (July 16, 622, on the Gregorian calendar)…Since the Muslim year is a lunar one consisting of only 354 days, the commencement of the new year fluctuates widely by the Western calendar” (Encyclopedia Americana).

This is what happens when people rely on their own judgment rather than simply believing God. Great numbers lose inhibition on New Year’s. They make noise, get drunk, overeat, and often have illicit sex, sometimes with strangers. Common sense can disappear in pursuit of outright sin.

The God of the Bible said this to ancient Israel about the false gods they would encounter in the land He gave them: “You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works…lest they make you sin against Me…their gods…will surely be a snare unto you” (Ex. 23:24, 33). This certainly pictures New Year’s and other holidays we have seen.

Nowhere does God in His Word command the New Year’s celebration. To learn why true Christians do not get caught up in this day, read our eye-opening article Why Christians Don’t Celebrate New Year’s.

Halloween Celebrations

Then there is Halloween. Americans spend over $7 billion every year on this holiday. Is this just a harmless, happy childhood activity—or something very different? Its traditions, customs and practices are rooted in a past much darker, more sinister, and more demonic than you know .

On the night of October 31, the ancient Celts, after harvesting and storing their crops for the winter, began their annual fall festival. The Encyclopaedia Britannica reveals, “Samhain (Celtic: ‘End of Summer’), one of the most important and sinister calendar festivals of the Celtic year. At Samhain, held on November 1, the world of the gods was believed to be made visible to mankind, and the gods played many tricks on their mortal worshipers; it was a time fraught with danger, charged with fear, and full of supernatural episodes. Sacrifices and propitiations of every kind were thought to be vital, for without them the Celts believed they could not prevail over the perils of the season or counteract the activities of the deities. Samhain was an important precursor to Halloween.”

halloween-wallpaper-png4

The Celts observed the festival of Samhain in various forms. The Catholic Church took note. Throughout the church’s early history, Catholic worshipers observed special anniversaries for martyrs who had been executed for their beliefs. Soon there were not enough days in the calendar year to dedicate a specific day for each martyr. So the Roman Catholic Church chose one feast day—“All Saints’ Day!”—for its martyrs. In the early ninth century, Pope Gregory IV sought to paste over this pagan practice by moving All Saints’ Day from May 13 to November 1—the same day as Samhain! This officially extended the festival to the entire church. Later, All Saints’ Day became known as All Hallows Day, while October 31 became All Hallows Eve. You know this carefully chosen heathen practice as Halloween!

Halloween is brim full and running over with pagan customs, masquerading as Christian traditions! God bluntly labels any practice of such customs to be sin. Israel was commanded to destroy the gods and nations around them. Why? “That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should you sin against the Lord your God” (Deut. 20:18).

Every parent should consider. Halloween teaches children that it is acceptable to beg for something instead of earning it through work. Think. It also teaches them to extort candy, because “trick or treat” means “give me a treat or I’ll play a trick on you!” Halloween’s ghoulish costumes, spooky jack-o-lanterns, festive parades, and prankish tricks—often translated vandalism!—may appear to be innocent fun. But our article “Trick?” or “Treat?” – Unmasking Halloween reveals the truth about this rotten holidays

Birthdays, April Fools’ Day and Thanksgiving?

Now for birthday celebrations. In every culture and nation on Earth, nothing is as universally celebrated. But is this practice biblical? Does God agree with it? Solomon wrote, “…better [is] the day of death than the day of one’s birth” (Ecc. 7:1). We would all agree that the day of one’s death is not exactly his best day. Yet God says that it is better than the day of his birth.

Here is the briefest look at the history of birthday celebrations: “The Greeks believed that everyone had a protective spirit or daemon who attended his birth and watched over him in life. This spirit had a mystic relation with the god on whose birthday the individual was born…The Romans also subscribed to this idea…This notion was carried down in human belief and is reflected in the guardian angel, the fairy godmother and the patron saint…The custom of lighted candles on the cakes started with the Greeks…honey cakes round as the moon and lit with tapers [candles] were placed on the temple altars of [the goddess Artemis]…Birthday candles, in folk belief, are endowed with special magic for granting wishes…Lighted tapers and sacrificial fires have had a special mystic significance ever since man first set up altars to his gods. The birthday candles are thus an honor and tribute to the birthday child and bring good fortune” (Ralph and Adelin Linton, The Lore of Birthdays).

Birthday celebrations are mentioned in the Bible on three separate occasions and in each, terrible things occurred. Read our article Are Birthday Celebrations Christian? to learn much more of the truth about birthday-keeping.

What about April Fools’ Day, also known as All Fools’ Day? Every April 1, millions participate in pranks, practical jokes, and even outright lies—in the name of “innocent fun.” Our article A Foolish Holiday explains the origin of this day, and whether one should observe it.

Finally, you may now be wondering about Thanksgiving Day. In fact, this is one of the few holidays not steeped in pagan tradition. Thanksgiving is set aside to show appreciation to Almighty God for the many blessings America has received—but has today so tragically forgotten. For more, read The Real Truth article What Thanksgiving Should Mean to You.

What God Says

Men want to observe their own holidays in place of God’s seven annual Holy Days—outlined and commanded in His Word—and then tell themselves they are pleasing and worshipping the true God. I repeat Jesus’ statement: “In vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” (Mark 7:7). He also said this: “Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition” (vs. 9). Every year, around the world, hundreds of millions reject God’s Word and keep men’s holidays! No wonder Jesus asked, “Why call you Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46).

God told Israel: “You shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them…And you shall be holy unto Me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that you should be Mine” (Lev. 20:23, 26).

In the Second Commandment—forbidding all forms of idolatry—and in other passages, God declares He is a jealous God. He wants His people doing what He commands, not the practices of false gods!

We saw God plainly instructs, “Learn not the way of the heathen” (Jer. 10:2). But most people do not fear God—they do not care what He says—and He allows them to make their own decisions. Human beings are free moral agents—free to learn or not learn what God commands—free to obey or disobey Him!

But woe to those who ignore the plain Word of the Bible, believing men can overrule God!

People can worship in ways that represent things far different from what they sincerely believe or intend. When they have observed a practice for a long time they come to identify with it, as though it were their own. They become vested in it. When one tries to tell them the truth—even presenting facts, evidence and proof—many become hostile—angry!—that one would dare violate sacred personal beliefs.

The proof is overwhelming that men’s holidays are “traditions” and “commandments of men”—condemned by God! Yet vast millions keep them anyway!

God makes absolutely clear He does not want us to mix His ways with any false ways. He says, “What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it” (Deut. 12:32). In other words, do exactly what I say—nothing more, nothing less!

lovely-spring-wallpaper

Two Choices

Worldwide disobedience comes with a terrible price. National punishment now lies just ahead for the greatest nations—the ones who have been custodians of the Bible and who should—and could—have known the truth you now know.

Be careful of being angry that I am “taking away your holidays.” Your anger is in fact directed at God. I merely told you what He says. Direct your anger at ministers you trusted, but who deceived you.

So then, am I bad-mouthing cherished Christmas and Easter—and other holidays—or reporting the truth? Don’t shoot the messenger! The message comes from God.

God declares He hates the customs associated with pagan celebrations. We saw His plain words to all who say they can mix the horrible customs of outright paganism with a supposed “focus on Jesus.”

End the stress. Save your money. Do not be lulled or intimidated by the sheep instinct of others around you who spend money they do not have for things they do not need—thus going into debt disobeying God. And tell your children the truth about Santa Claus—and all the other lies associated with this abominable holiday, which has always focused away from the true Jesus Christ of the Bible.

You face two choices: listen to confused, deceived ministers, and go along with the masses and their traditions. Or, open your mind—and your Bible—listen to God, and seek the truth about these days.

Vampire St. Germain-The Original Prestidigitator

08

Wouldn’t it make perfect sense? GOD gives eternal life through the Salvation offered by HIS Son, Jesus Christ…and Satan would offer the same but in a twisted way? Of curse…it does.

Okay…a little play on words, but effective just the same.

The Holy Spirit revealed this to me, so I have no doubt that the rumors and legends that originated with this entity are true. This entity has been connected to many people, places and events through the decades, centuries and millennia. Do I exaggerate? NO!

Some will be convinced that this is nothing but conjecture and trifle gibberish, but I assure you that this beast is very real and exists to feed upon man’s body and soul.

Did I bring this to you just in time Halloween, yes it does seem as though I have but this is not a laughing matter. You see, so many people celebrate Halloween when all it is, is just Satan in disguise.

From St. Germain to Judas….Vampires stretch back as far as the 1700’s in France? No, further!

This first article which I highlight is the most recent but one of the most relevant as far as it being a timely matter. Conceived to drum up business and hype, but it’s all the more real and based upon true events.

FORTUNE TELLING VAMP

In Louisiana, in New Orleans to be exact, there exists a French Quarter Boutique du Vampyre. The tale involves one who claims who claims to be akin to the real deal! His name? Jacques d’Saint Germaine…the name being very close, you see to the one he aspired to be. In fact, some even claimed that he was the presence of Saint Germain, himself.

Nonetheless, welcoming the “resident fortune teller” safely behind glass in a fortune cabinet. It’s backed by the same company that makes the popular Zoltar fortune-telling machines.

“I’ve been dreaming of acquiring one of these machines for my customers to have fun with while visiting our boutique”, says Marita Crandle, owner of Boutique du Vampyre. “However, I really wanted to create my own character and he had to be a vampire.”

I asked Olaf, at Characters Unlimited, if I could make him St. Germaine. I was thrilled when he told me I could design him, dress him, and even write his vocabulary. It was too good to be true. I think St. Germaine is going to quickly become one of the focal points of our store”.

Jacque St. Germaine, was reported to have lived in the French Quarter, on the corner of Royal and Ursulines Streets in the early 1900s. He apparently admitted to being related to Count St. Germaine, a 18th Century alchemist, while many people believe he was actually Count St. Germaine himself – a man that throughout history, never seemed to age beyond 40 years.

One evening he reportedly enticed a young woman to his home. However, she jumped off of his balcony after he apparently bit her on the neck. The police were called and he was ordered to report to the police station the next day. However, St. Germaine never made it to the police station the next day, rather, he disappeared. The authorities discovered several bottles in his home, half filled with wine, and half with human blood.

“St. Germaine, seemed to be the perfect vampire for the job”, said Crandle. She explains that every so often on the back of the fortune cards, there will be a coupon for something from the boutique, like a deck of tarot cards, or a fortune candle, making the 5 dollar St. Germaine fortune more than worth the investment.

Crandle says she can also turn off the pre-recorded messages, and talk through St. Germaine, to really have fun with her customers. “There’s something so magical about these carnival style machines”, says Crandle. “When customers wander into our boutique, we hope that they temporarily leave reality, and are transported by our little curiosity shop, to a magical and mysterious place, where they can explore the mystical part of life. From vampire shrunken heads to fortune candles to bottled spirits, we try to offer something for everyone. We feel that St. Germaine will be a wonderful addition to the feel of the shop, while giving customers a fun experience during their visits.

Boutique du Vampyre is located at 709 ½ St. Ann street, at Royal Street. Come by, have a little popcorn, and try your luck at winning a prize while St. Germaine tells your fortune.

Little does she know, she’s inviting the devil himself!

maxresdefault1

The year is 1902 and a man going by Jaques St. Germain moves into the prestigious building at the corner of Ursulines and Royal. It is said that he has immigrated from the south of France and a descendant of the Count Saint-Germain. His first introduction into New Orleans society was a party he threw, where he invited all the elite of New Orleans, dignitaries and politicians. Fed them from a catered menu on the finest china and silverware, yet didn’t himself eat a bite. All he did was drink what guests believed to be red wine. This supposedly offended New Orleans polite society and Jacques, while immensely rich never seemed to fit in. He was described as charming, highly intelligent and a master of languages and art, but the company he kept and the fact that he was known to party a lot (loved Bourbon Street) kept him from being accepted by the elitists.

Jacques Saint Germaine didn’t come back into attention until the police took notice of him. Jacques had picked up a woman in a local pub and taken her back to his home. The young woman later finds herself at the police station with a tale that sounds right out of a fantasy novel. She said that Saint-Germain came at her with alarming speed and strength when she leaned over to inspect some beautiful items on his mantel. With that speed and strength in full use, he pressed her against the mantel and began biting her viciously on her neck.

As luck would have it, at that exact moment a few of Jacques more rowdy friends began banging at his door to lure him out for a drink. The pounding distracted Jacques enough for the woman to break away, but instead of trying to make it past Jacques she decides to throw herself through the second story window and over the balcony that surrounds the property, to the bricked street below, thus resulting in her legs breaking in a few places. Her desperate screams drew the police and they took her to the hospital and took her statement.

Jacques, when questioned that night, stated only that she was drunk and decided to jump. Police ask if Jacques could come down to the station in the morning to give a formal statement.

Jacques never appears at the police station the next day. When they decide to pay him a visit they find his house is abandoned and most of his things gone. Police take this as invitation to inspect his home and are confused by what they find. For one there are blood stains all over table clothes in the house and from what they can tell they are from different time periods. Then to top it off there was absolutely not one piece of food in the house. Not even utensils or plates, just a large collection of wine glasses and wine bottles filled with what police believed to be red wine, yet upon taste discovered it was a mixture of blood and wine.

immortalgermain-300x222Comte de Saint-Germain & Richard Chanfray, the man who claimed to be the Count in the 1970s. Chanfray appeared on television with his claim and supposedly changed lead into gold. Chanfray committed suicide in Saint Tropez in 1983. Picture is taken from Before It’s News and they report that Chanfray faked his suicide and is still alive to this day. (Which would be true if he really is the Count.

There have been numerous reports, even in present day, that a mysterious figure, sometimes known as “Jack” will often harass tourists and locals, displaying amazing speed or strength.

Today New Orleans is known as one of the most violent cities in the U.S., leading the country in “murders per capita”. But, it doesn’t stop there, we are also known for our mysterious disappearances, which are not based in the “low-income” districts of NOLA, but usually focus on tourists and even visiting celebrities. These crimes give the city a dangerous and almost gothic flare and perpetuate the rumors that it might not be drug-dealers that are pushing our crime-stats through the roof, but maybe a few vampires, one in particular that goes by Jack.

Next, we visit a guide…

Vampire’s Guide to New Orleans

If you have ever walked the dark, rainy streets of the French Quarter at night, you have seen the voodoo shops selling their gris-gris and John-the-Conqueror Root.  You’ve seen the old woman in the French Market whose pointing finger foretells your death  And if you know the right person to ask and you ask in the right way, you’ll be shown to the vampire clubs.

I’ve been in those clubs and seen people who believe with their heart, body, and soul that they are real, live vampires.  And some of the people in those clubs are scared to death of a select group of vampires who have only appeared there a few times, and always in the darkest of night

By day, of course, the vampire clubs are closed and locked or turned back into regular tourist bars . . .

SITTING UP WITH THE DEAD

Like the Spanish Moss that drapes the trees of the nearby bayous, mystery and the occult have shrouded New Orleans since its birth.  For hundreds of years, families there have practiced a custom called “sitting up with the dead.”  When a family member dies, a relative or close family friend stays with the body until it is placed into one of New Orleans’ above-ground tombs or is buried.  The body is never left unattended.

There are many reasons given for this practice today—the Old Families will tell you it’s simply respect for the dead—but this tradition actually dates back to the vampire folklore of medieval Eastern Europe.  First, the mirrors are covered and the clocks are stopped.  While sitting up with the deceased, the friend or family member is really watching for signs of paranormal activity, e.g.,. if a cat is seen to jump over, walk across, or stand on top of the coffin; if a dog barks or growls at the coffin; or if a horse shies from it, these are all signs of impending vampirism.  Likewise, if a shadow falls over the corpse.  At that point, steps are taken to prevent the corpse from returning from the dead.

Ways to stop a corpse—especially a suicide—from becoming a vampire include burying it face down at a crossroads.  Often family members place a sickle around the neck to keep the corpse from sitting up; stuff the mouth with garlic and sew it closed; or mutilate the body, usually by decapitating the head and placing it at the bottom of the feet.  But the most common remedy for impending vampirism is to drive a stake into the corpse, decapitate it, then burn the body to ashes.  This method is still believed to be the only sure way to truly destroy the undead.

THE CASKET GIRLS

Ask any member of the Old Families who the first vampires to come to New Orleans were, and they’ll tell you the same:  it was the Casket Girls.

Much of the population that found their way to New Orleans in the early 1700s were unwelcome anywhere else:  deported galley slaves and felons, trappers, gold-hunters and petty criminals.  People who wouldn’t be noticed if they went missing.

Sources vary on the specifics, but the basic story is that the city’s founders asked French officials to send over prospective wives for the colonists.  They obliged and after months at sea these young girls showed up on the docks, pale and gaunt, bearing only as many belongings as would fit inside a wooden chest or “casquette,” which appears to have been the 18th Century equivalent of an overnight bag.  They were taken to the Ursuline Convent, which still stands today, where the girls were said to have resided until the nuns could arrange for marriages.

Some accounts say they were fine young women, virgins brought up in church-run orphanages; some say they were prostitutes.  But there are many who swear they were vampires, vampires who continue to rise from their “casquettes” on the third floor to break through the windows and hurricane shutters—windows and shutters that always seem to need repairing after the calmest of nights—to feed upon the transient crowds that for centuries have filled the darkened alleys of the Quarter.

Finally in 1978, after centuries of rumors and stories, two amateur reporters demanded to see these coffins.  The archbishop, of course, denied them entrance.  Undaunted, the next night the two men climbed over the convent wall with their recording equipment and set up their workstation below.  The next morning, the reporters’ equipment was found strewn about the lawn.  And on the front porch steps of the convent were found the almost decapitated bodies of these two men.  Eighty percent of their blood was gone.  To this day, no one has ever solved the murders.

Le Compte de St. Germain and the Balcony at Ursuline and Royal

If there is one person who encapsulates the lure and the danger of the vampire, it is the Compte de Saint Germain. Making his first appearance in the court of Louis XV of France, the Comte de Saint Germain endeared himself to the aristocrats by regaling them with events from his past.  An alchemist by trade, he claimed to be in possession of the “elixir of life,” and to be more than 6,000 years old.

At other times the Count at claimed to be a son of Francis II Rakoczi, the Prince of Transylvania, born in 1712, possibly legitimate, possibly by Duchess Violante Beatrice of Bavaria.  This would account for his wealth and fine education.  It also explains why kings would accept him as one of their own.

Contemporary accounts from the time record that despite being in the midst of many banquets and invited to the finest homes, he never ate at any of them.  He would, however, sip at a glass of red wine.  After a few years, he left the French court and moved to Germany, where he was reported to have died. However, people continued to spot him throughout Europe even after his death.

In 1903, a handsome and charismatic young Frenchman named Jacques Saint Germain, claiming to be a descendant of the Compte, arrived in New Orleans, taking residence in a house at the corner of Royal and Ursuline streets. Possessing an eye for beauty, Jacques was seen on the streets of the French Quarter with a different young woman on his arm every evening.  His excursions came to an abrupt end one cold December night, when a woman’s piercing scream was heard coming from Jacques’ French Quarter home.  The scream was quickly followed by a woman who flung herself from the second story window to land on the street below.  As bystanders rushed to her aid, she told them how Saint Germain attacked and bit her, and that she jumped out of the window to escape.  She died later that evening at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

By the time the New Orleans police kicked in the door of Saint Germain’s home, he had escaped.  However, what they did find was disturbing enough.  The stench of death greeted the nostrils of the policemen, who found not only large bloodstains in the wooden flooring, but even wine bottles filled with human blood.  The house was declared a crime scene and sealed off.  From that evil night to the present day, no one has lived in that home in the French Quarter.  It is private property and all taxes have been paid to date, but no one has been able to contact the present owner or owners.  The only barriers between the valuable French Quarter property and the outside world are the boarded-up balcony windows and a small lock on the door.  Whispers of Jacques sightings are prevalent, and people still report seeing him in the French Quarter.  Could it be the enigmatic Compte checking up on his property?

Legend says that vampires originated with the apostle who betrayed Jesus Christ and that is Judas Iscariot. We all know the Bible story that Judas betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver and when Christ was crucified Judas tried to return the 30 pieces of silver and when the priests would not take it back he cast the silver coins away from him and when and hung himself. You can find reference to this in Matthew 27 3-5. Some legends down through the years say that those that commit suicide can become vampires.

Judas Iscariot according to a Hebrew Legend was the first vampire ever in history. Though ancient writings from around the world mention vampire like creatures being around several thousand years before Christ.

It is said by some that vampires have two separate beginnings. One from Judas and one from a creature from very ancient times. Egyptians told of a creature much like a vampire that was said to have existed six thousand or more years ago.

It is suggested by some that vampires having an aversion to crosses, holy water, and silver can be traced back to the Judas legend. What we don’t know is if its true.

The specific quote from the bible is.

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. (Matthew 27:3-5)

What we all want to know is if Judas died when he hanged himself or was he condemned to haunt the earth for the rest of history as a vampire. If so is Judas the father of all vampires? Doesn’t it strike you as odd that it’s SILVER? For whatever scientific or chemical reason, silver has a unique effect upon vampires when it comes in contact with their skin. Not only does it burn, but it also has a paralyzing effect, making it so a vampire cannot pull the silver off of itself. It’s somewhat similar to the way humans become paralyzed by electrical currents – the muscles seize and the person becomes unable to disconnect themselves from the source. While in both cases this is not necessarily deadly in small amounts, there is the possibility of major injury with enough exposure.

The Book Of Alugah, The Story Of God’s Punishment For Judas Iscariot

In a very old book that I purchased in Jerusalem the story of God’s punishment for Judas Iscariot is revealed. I believe the book to be authentic. It is leather bound and was written by a Catholic Monk in the year 843 AD. I purchased it in an old book store on a dusty alley in Jerusalem and it took me several years before I was able to read it. You see it was written in Aramaic which is said to have been the language of Jesus Christ. I was able to get a professor in New York to translate it for me in exchange for him being able to keep a copy of the book.

The Story Of How God Cursed Judas Iscariot

The Monk named Aed tells the Hebrew legend in the book that God punished Judas Iscariot after Judas hanged himself by restoring life to him and that God cursed him to live until the last days. God is said to have told Judas that he would fear the sun and the light of day and that he would roam the night. He went on to tell Judas that the life is in the blood and that blood from living humans would be the only thing Judas would ever feed on again. The book does not say anything about it having to be the blood of Christians.

The book does say that God told Judas that you will never find the comfort of death. Nothing will kill you or your kind but you will seek the darkness and live in dark moist places. Wishing that you could taste water again but it will never cross your lips. You will walk through the many years in front of you remembering what you have done and what has been done to you in return. And you will know that your end will be in a burning lake of fire that will never go out.

God told Judas that he knew Judas would have many off spring and that they too would be cursed the same as Judas to be creatures of the night and to feed only only blood. God is said to have told Judas that wine or sweet water will never cross your lips again. God went on to tell Judas that in the end at the end of days that Judas and all his offspring would be cast into a burning lake of fire along with Lucifer and his demons where you will remain forever.

The book does not tell how the off spring of Judas would be created or where they would come from. But it does say that Judas would have many offspring and they would be cursed the same as Judas.

God told Judas that anything to do with Christ or Christians would be an aversion to Judas and his kind including silver. God is said to have told Judas that you betrayed my son for silver and that silver will betray you. The book does not explain what this means exactly. And it does not say anything of why God created a vampire race. The word vampire does not appear in the book but several references to Creatures of the Night are made.

It does make me wonder why God would have created a race of beings to feed on the blood of humans. And that is basically the whole story from the book. It does not reveal any deep dark vampire secrets. The story is written by hand in ink and some of the story could not be read because it had been damaged by water. The rest of the book is interesting history of that time in Jerusalem but it says nothing else about vampires. It is likely that the Monk Aed heard the story from other people and that he wrote down what he heard. That is how things were done in that time. So we know that the legend did exist at one time. We don’t know if that was all of the story or if there is more of the story that was not told or written down by the Monk.

Judas Iscariot Father Of All Vampires

There is a not well known legend from the Jewish people that Judas was condemned by God to wander the earth and was never allowed to see the sun. The legend says that Judas is a vampire and that he and his descendants are condemned to wander the earth and feed on the blood of Christians. I was told that every vampire was created by Judas or his vampire descendants. I was told about this legend when I was in Jerusalem in the 1980s. I was able to purchase a very old hand written book in a Jerusalem book store that had some of the legend in it.

It was a very old Jewish man who told me where to find the book I purchased and I was not allowed to record or photograph him. I wish I had been able to record the story. The man told me that very ancient vampires lived under the old city of Jerusalem. He said that he had seen these ancient creatures and they always drank the blood of Christians. The book only says that Judas and his offspring would have to feed on the blood of humans. It does not say Christians.

He told the story that for thousands of years these creatures had lived in caverns or tunnels under the city and that they preyed on the blood of the faithful of Christ.

FINAL THOUGHTS

So…is this Judas, yet another presentation of St. Germain in the flesh? Sure, we have many books which have attributed to Saint Germain…the prestidigitator…the magician. How would he accomplish all these feats? I believe he is a fallen angel. He is aligned with the Ascended Masters (fallen angels)…all vampires themselves who feed off of humanity to obtain their body and souls.

A TOY-ITS NOT!

ouija_16003700801472

A dire warning needs to go out! Spread the word about this wicked thing. Tell your friends and family…everyone.

Called by many names, but the Ouija Board is evil. Some will try to convince you that it’s just a “toy” but nothing could be further from the truth.

This whole mess began with the fallen angels! I know that sounds a bit far-fetched but you will see the connections…

We must establish some rather interesting facts before we can “circle the square”!

CELESTIAL RIVERS

Originally, it began just as a “FUJI” (fu chi), which few realize was a tool to communicate with spirits. It roughly resembled a dowsing-rod.

The page which reveals this information details it as a series on TAOISM. CHI is 22 letter of the Greek alphabet, transliterated in the traditional Latin style as ‘chi’ (as in Christ) or in the modern style as ‘kh’ (as in Khaniá and in the etymologies of this dictionary).

  • Astronomythe twenty-second star in a constellation.noun: Chi“Chi Ophiuchi”
  • Chinese fuji spirit-writing involves some specialized vocabulary. Luan “a mythical phoenix-like bird” is used in synonyms such as fuluan 扶鸞 “support the phoenix,” feiluan 飛鸞 “flying phoenix,” and jiangluan 降鸞 “descending phoenix”. The fuji process involves specialized participants. The two people (or rarely one) who hold the sieve or stylus are called jishou 乩手 “planchette hands”, only one of whom is ostensibly possessed by a shen “spirit; god” or xian “immortal; transcendent”.

Ophiuchus holds a huge snake, Serpens, in both hands as shown in the Atlas Coelestis of John Flamsteed (1729).

Ophiuchus appears to stand on Scorpius, the scorpion, with his left foot. The V-shaped group of stars above the tail of the serpent, next to the right shoulder of Ophiuchus, once formed part of the obsolete constellation Taurus Poniatovii. (Taurus plays an important part in this proverbial picture)

You may have heard some rather strange news recently about a 13th constellation of the zodiac.

angels2a

The stars and planets were named after the fallen angels by the Greek, and then the Romans as a way to honor their gods.

Although Ophiuchus is not one of the 12 constellations of the zodiac, the Sun passes through its southern regions in the first half of December. Ophiuchus is shown in the sky holding a snake.

Chinese associations include the Greeks gods, (Zeus, Apollo, etc) who are actually the demi-gods of Atlantis. More on the celestial meanings in the links provided below.

Did you notice the chi-reference? “Christ”. This is by design! Of course this is NOT Jesus Christ in The Bible, it’s the false messiah. Also note: Chi in Chinese mythology means “dragon”. Why? Because the dragons of old are the sky-gods (fallen angels).

Next, we have the “Phoenix”.

The double-headed eagle is probably the most easily recognizable Masonic symbol in the world, even more important than the Square and Compass/Rule.

They look like two eagles, but they are not.    They are the Phoenix Bird of Ancient Egypt.   Remember that the Brotherhood was known in ancient Egypt as, “The Mystery Schools.”

The current Presidential Seal has an eagle in it. The eagle replaced the Phoenix(the original national bird) in 1841 as the national bird. The Phoenix has been a Brotherhood symbol since ancient Egypt.

The Phoenix was adopted by the Founding Fathers for use on the reverse of the first official seal of the United States after a design proposed by Charles Thompson, Secretary of the Continental Congress.

Listen to the explanation from Masonic author, Manly P. Hall, 33rd Degree, K.T., in his book, The Phoenix: An Illustrated Review of Occultism and Philosophy .

“Among the ancients a fabulous bird called the Phoenix is described by early writers … in size and shape it resembles the eagle, but with certain differences. The body of the Phoenix is one covered with glossy purple feathers, and the plumes in its tail are alternately blue and red. The head of the bird is light in color, and about its neck is a circlet of golden plumage. At the back of its back the Phoenix has a crest of feathers of brilliant color … The Phoenix, it is said, lives for 500 years, and at its death its body opens and the new born Phoenix emerges. Because of this symbolism, the Phoenix is generally regarded as representing immortality and resurrection … The Phoenix is one sign of the secret orders of the ancient world and of the initiate of those orders, for it was common to refer to one who had been accepted into the temples as a man twice-born, or reborn. Wisdom confers a new life, and those who become wise are born again. [p. p. 176-77]

Then, we have Taurus. Taurus symbolizes dual relationships in the occult. The keynotes of Taurus are, as usual, clear in their implication. “The Eye” of the cosmic Bull (Satan). This is the “All-Seeing Eye”, same eye of the Illuminati/Masonic paths. The eye of vision of the individual man must likewise open in response to the ‘cosmic light’. Of course, this is the false light of Lucifer/Satan.

Charles Kennard of Baltimore, Maryland who acted on it. In 1890, he pulled together a group of four other investors—including Elijah Bond (Freemason), a local attorney, and Col. Washington Bowie, a surveyor—to start the Kennard Novelty Company to exclusively make and market these new talking boards.

“He (William Fuld) attended public school and later the Maryland Institute for the Promotion of the Mechanic Arts / Schools of Art and Design. At the age of 17 he landed his first documented job as a painter/varnisher in 1887. This trade led him to the Kennard Novelty Company which opened their doors in 1890. Though often cited as mereley an employee, company records show he was one of the the original stock holders. It is through his deep friendship with Col. Washington Bowie, William began his association with the Wonderful Talking Board and his meteoric rise to become known as the Father of the Ouija Board.”

William Fuld manufactured various talking boards and other amusements moving frequently into larger factories until in 1918 when he built a three story, 36,000 feet factory at Harford Avenue, Lamont Avenue, and Federal Street. The factory cost one-hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars. On April 24th 1919 William became the sole owner of the Ouija board when Col. Washington Bowie assigned all remaining rights and interest in the U. S. Ouija trademark 18,919 to him.

William saw the Ouija board through numerous company names; The Kennard Novelty Company, The Ouija Novelty Company, Isaac Fuld & Bother, William Fuld, and William Fuld & Sons…(all Freemasons). William also saw the Ouija board tear him and his brother Isaac apart, separating their families in a feud lasting almost a century beginning in 1901 and ending with their grandchildren Kathy and Stuart in 1997.

In 1904, like many associated with the Ouija board, he became a member of the Masons.

On February 24th 1927 while overseeing the replacement of a flagpole, William Fuld was tragically killed by complications falling from the roof of his three story Harford, Lamont, and Federal Street factory. The iron support he was leaning on gave way, and he tumbled backwards off the roof, grasping and catching one of the factory windows and then falling to the ground. He suffered a “concussion of the brain, five fractured ribs, a broken arm, a fractured leg, and numerous cuts and bruises.” An employee who witnessed the fall picked him up and rushed him to the hospital where he later died from one of his broken ribs piercing his heart. Laying on his deathbed he made his children promise they would never sell the Ouija board.

The business was taken over by his children headed by William A. Fuld. Due to the age and recurrent health problems of William Andrew the entire business and the Ouija board were sold to Parker Brothers on February 24th 1966. It was the thirty-ninth anniversary of William Fuld’s death.

William Fuld—the “Wonderful Talking Board”:

“Ouija knows all the answers. Weird and mysterious. Surpasses, in its unique results, mind reading, clairvoyance and second sight. It furnishes never failing amusement and recreation for the entire family. As unexplainable as Hindu magic—more intense and absorbingly interesting than a mystery story.

Ouija gives you entertainment you have never experienced. It draws the two people using it into close companionship and weaves about them a feeling of mysterious isolation. Unquestionably the most fascinating entertainment for modern people and modern life.”

CIRCLE THE SQUARE

“If you try to circle the square, you try to do something that is very difficult or impossible.”

The transcendental nature of this phrase, of course…originates with the Masonic. Their symbols are the Square and Compass. “Squaring the Circle” is an ancient geometrical problem of using only a straight line and compass (and a finite number of steps) being able to construct a square of equal area to any given circle.

This is symbolic of “SECRET SOCIETIES” due to their hidden knowledge! But, you see…nothing remains hidden because GOD said all darkness will come to light!

Luke 8 (KJV)

17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

ouija-3

In the mid-19th century, the world was bitten by the spiritualist bug. Spiritualists believed it was an undeniable scientific fact that there WAS life after death and that a person’s religious beliefs were not subject to rules.

The board has been called by many names—talking board, spirit board, witch board—but most know it as “Ouija Board”.

Kennard claims the board told him repreatedly that the name meant “good luck” in Egypt. But, the name in French actually means—yes-yes.

ouija-board-animated_300px

Although many scientists and even religious authorities theorized that the board was nothing evil, the majority of evil reports came in the late 70’s, after a novel was published which in turn became a blockbuster movie. The story holds that a teenager revealed to her mother that she had been talking to a person named “Captain Howdy”. (The Exorcist)

It has always been mysterious. It has always been mystifying. Sit opposite your partner and rest your fingers lightly on the planchette. Now ask your question. Concentrate very hard…and watch as the answer is revealed in the message window. Will it tell you YES…or NO? Will it give you a NUMBER…or SPELL out the answer? Ask any question you want. Ouija will answer. It’s only a game isn’t it? From the Parker Brothers Ouija Board

In Ceremonial Magick and Sorcery, thirty third degree Freemason, Manly P. Hall, wrote the following as he discusses the “agreement” made by “black magic” practitioners and demons:

“In the case of black magic, it is the magician and not the demon who must sign the pact. When the black magician binds an elemental to his service, a battle of wits ensues, which the demon eventually wins. With his own blood the magician signs the pact between himself and the demon, for in the arcanum of magic it is declared that ‘he controls the soul who controls the blood of another.’ As long as the magician does not fail, the elemental will fulfil to the letter his obligation under the pact, but the demon will try in every possible way to prevent the magician from carrying out his part of the contract.”

ouija-board-gif

The point of the statement is that the magickian and demon seemingly come to an agreement, of sorts. However, this is a battle of wits…and demons have been around for millennia and are far more intelligent than humans.

The Ouija Board is simply a modern day incarnation of very ancient practices, whereby engaging in divination; to ascertain information.

In this case, envisage a flat board wherein are printed letters, numbers, etc. one or more persons place their fingertips upon a scrolling device (planchette) which will be eventually controlled by spirits.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Although there are many forms of magick…(this is not the kind that inserts a man on stage doing simple card tricks or pulling rabbits out of a hat. But, present day magicians are playing with fire because they are conjuring demons to become rich & famous by way of the occult.), this specific type is the magick workings of conjuring and banishing.

The rules are simple:

A magickian calls forth, raises, conjures what is termed as an ‘elemental’, a demon…for their direct purpose…and then sends them away, or banishes them.

Here is something that will become key; the magickian does the conjuring with the utility of a magick circle (often adorned with sigils of various kinds). The circle is means to form a wall of protection to the magickian and a wall of incarceration to the demon.

e06ac7e8bf45d4a9cdc617a957fd35d4

The sad ending to this is: most people do these acts but don’t know how to banish! The Necronomicon is full of sigils to conjure, but even adepts who’ve utilized these concepts admit that they contain banishing techniques and scary is the fact that these kinds of books are conceived by people who simply piece together ancient Canaanite sigils who have no idea what their doing!

The dangerous nature of this parallels itself to people using the Ouija Board…which gives one access to conjure but ultimately the demon does not go away. In fact, it can remain with those people for the rest of their lives causing horrific events the whole time.

Many have reported that the demons have, ultimately, stated words to the effect of, “Did you think that you can call upon me and send me away like a common prostitute?” No, indeed.

demmon

In his new book, Sleep Paralysis – What it is and how to stop it, Chris White wrote the following (pp. 35-36):

“Take for example the Ouija board. It’s supposed to allow you to communicate with the spirit world right? Well, it does, in a sense.

Here’s the secret about a Ouija board: It’s just cardboard and ink. It has no power of its own. It is simply a vehicle for a human to ask for contact with spirits in their hearts, even if they don’t actually say it with their mouths. When you sit down and play with a Ouija board, a tarot card reading, or one of several other activities, what you are saying in your heart is: ‘spirits, I want you to be here. I want to contact you.’

You are giving them the only thing they need – permission. There seems to be a kind of a ‘rule of engagement’ that they need your permission. And things like tarot cards and Ouija are ways to trick you into giving it to them, to trick you into asking for them to be there. In exchange, the demons use the open invitation you have given them to do something supernatural which is intended to validate the experience and make you want to do more.

This of course benefits them in the long run because it means you will be opening the door wider for them.”
