The Rev. Michael Maginot was leading Bible study in his living room the morning of April 20, 2012, when he received a call from a hospital chaplain.
Maginot had been the priest at St. Stephen, Martyr Parish, in Merrillville for more than 10 years but had never received a request like this one — the chaplain asked him to perform an exorcism on Ammons’ 9-year-old son.
Maginot agreed to interview the family after Sunday Mass a few days later.
The first step, Maginot said, was ruling out natural causes for what Ammons and her family said they were experiencing.
He visited Ammons and Campbell in the Carolina Street home April 22, 2012. For two hours, Ammons and Campbell detailed the phenomena for him. Then, Campbell interrupted the interview to point out a flickering bathroom light.
The flickering stopped each time Maginot walked over to investigate — which he attributed to a demonic presence.
“It must be scared of me,” he later told The Star he had thought.
The interview was interrupted again when Campbell pointed out Venetian blinds in the kitchen swinging even though there was no air current. Maginot said he also saw wet footprints throughout the living room.
Ammons complained about having a headache. Maginot said she convulsed when he placed a crucifix against her head.
After a four-hour interview, Maginot said he was convinced the family was being tormented by demons. He said he also believed there were ghosts in the house.
Maginot blessed the house before he left — praying, reading from the Bible and sprinkling holy water in each room.
He told Ammons and Campbell to leave because it wasn’t safe. They temporarily moved in with a relative.
But less than a week later, the two women were back on Carolina Street to let Washington, the DCS family case manager, check the condition of the home. Washington asked a Lake County police officer to come with her.
Two other officers, one each from Gary and Hammond police departments, asked to join them out of “professional curiosity.”
Ammons refused to go inside, but Campbell agreed to accompany the group. Ammons’ kids still were in DCS custody.
The main floor had three bedrooms, a living room, one bathroom, hardwood floors and a small, open-style kitchen. A door in the kitchen led to a basement with concrete floors.
Directly under the stairs was a dirt floor. The concrete around it was jagged, as though it had been broken.
The makeshift altar Ammons had created was still in place, along with rings of salt she had poured against the basement walls to “dissuade the demons,” according to a Hammond Police Department report.
Campbell told officers that demons seemed to emanate from beneath the stairs.
Austin, the Gary police captain, was one of those officers. He later told The Star he believed in ghosts and the supernatural but said he didn’t believe in demons.
Austin said he changed his mind after visiting the Carolina Street house.
During the interview with Campbell, one of the officer’s audio recorders malfunctioned, according to Austin and Hammond police records. The power light flashed to indicate the batteries were dying, even though the officer had placed fresh batteries in the recorder earlier that day.
Another officer recorded audio and, when he played it back later, heard an unknown voice whisper “hey,” according to Lake County police records.
That officer also took photos of the house. In one photo of the basement stairs, there was a cloudy white image in the upper right-hand corner. When an officer enlarged the photo, that cloud appeared to resemble a face, Lake County police records state. The enlargement also revealed a second, green image that police say looked like a female.
Austin said photos he snapped with his iPhone also seemed to have strange silhouettes in them. The radio in his police-issued Ford malfunctioned on the way home.
Later, Austin said the garage at his Gary home refused to open, even though the power was on everywhere else.
Austin said the driver’s seat in his personal 2005 Infiniti also started moving backward and forward on its own.
He said he had the car checked at a dealership, and the mechanic told him the motor on the driver’s seat was broken, which the mechanic said could have caused a distraction leading to an accident.
Austin said he found himself starting to believe Ammons’ claims of paranormal activity. But the mental health professionals evaluating Ammons and her children remained skeptical.
In April 2012, DCS petitioned Lake Juvenile Court for temporary wardship of the three children. The request was granted.
DCS found that Ammons neglected her children’s education by not having them in school regularly. The agency made the same finding in 2009, its records show.
Ammons told Washington there were times she could not send the kids to school because “the spirits would make them sick, or they would be up all night without sleep.”
DCS temporarily placed her daughter and older son at St. Joseph’s Carmelite Home in East Chicago. Ammons’ youngest son was sent to Christian Haven in Wheatfield for a psychiatric evaluation.
Clinical psychologist Stacy Wright, who evaluated Ammons’ youngest son, said the boy tended to act possessed when he was challenged, redirected or asked questions he didn’t want to answer. In her evaluation, Wright wrote that he seemed coherent and logical except when he talked about demons.
It was then that the 8-year-old’s stories became “bizarre, fragmented and illogical,” Wright said. His stories changed each time he told them.
He also changed the subject, quizzing Wright on math problems and asking her about outer space.
“Can you die if you go to space?” he asked. “How do you get to space? Do you have to wear a helmet and suit?”
Wright believed the 8-year-old did not suffer from a true psychotic disorder.
“This appears to be an unfortunate and sad case of a child who has been induced into a delusional system perpetuated by his mother and potentially reinforced” by other relatives, she wrote in her psychological evaluation.
Clinical psychologist Joel Schwartz, who evaluated Ammons’ daughter and older son, came to a similar conclusion.
“There also appears to be a need to assess the extent to which (Ammons’ daughter) may have been unduly influenced by her mother’s concerns that the family was exposed to paranormal experiences,” Schwartz wrote.
Ammons’ daughter told Schwartz that she saw shadowy figures in the Carolina Street home. She also said she twice went into trances. Ammons’ older son told Schwartz that “doors would slam and stuff started moving around.”
Ammons also was examined several times by psychologists, who said she was “guarded,” but did not seem to be “experiencing symptoms of psychosis or thought disorder.” One psychologist recommended Ammons be assessed to “determine whether her religiosity may be masking underlying delusional ideations or perceptual disturbances.”
Ammons — and all three kids — continued to insist they were possessed by demons.
DCS set goals for the family. One of them stipulated that the children “not discuss demons and being possessed and … take responsibility for their actions.” They also needed to participate in therapy to address past behavior.
While DCS officials credited Ammons for sharing a “close bond” with her children, the agency also said she needed to use “alternate forms of discipline not directly related to religion and demon possession,” according to DCS’ case plan. Appropriate discipline included encouragement, rules and withholding privileges. She could work on those goals during supervised visits with the children.
Ammons also had to find a job and appropriate housing “due to the paranormal activity” at the house on Carolina Street.
While Ammons worked on meeting those objectives, police and DCS officials continued to investigate strange happenings in the house.
PORTAL TO HELL
It’s a tale, they say, that started with big black horse flies in the screened-in porch.
Latoya Ammons moved into the house with her three children (then seven, nine, and twelve, respectively) and her mother, Rosa Campbell, in November 2011. Campbell recalled a profusion of flies that swarmed their porch in December. “This is not normal,” Ammons’ mother, Rosa Campbell, remembers thinking. “We killed them and killed them and killed them, but they kept coming back.”
The oldest son told a child psychologist that doors would slam, and stuff was moving around the home. Latoya claimed the youngest son was lifted and thrown into the bathroom wall. She stated she watched as a demon attacked her daughter as it raised her up off the bed. She also claimed that spirits would come out and keep the children up all night and this was why the DCS had been called. Her children has a history of irregular school attendance since living in the home.
Other events were described as footsteps from the basement stairway, and a creepy creaking of the basement door. The grandmother describes awaking to a shadowy figure which accompanied wet boot prints. And even the priest who came to conduct an exorcism witnessed the wooden floor and the same type muddy prints.
This property has no extreme events which can be found, it’s just a small home with an enclosed porch at 3860 Carolina Street, Gary Indiana. The only issue which I have found is the city as a whole was the onetime “murder capital of the USA”.
A woman and three children who claimed to be possessed by demons. A 9-year-old boy walking backward up a wall in the presence of a family case manager and hospital nurse.
Gary police Capt. Charles Austin said it was the strangest story he had ever heard.
Austin, a 36-year veteran of the Gary Police Department, said he initially thought Indianapolis resident Latoya Ammons and her family concocted an elaborate tale as a way to make money. But after several visits to their home and interviews with witnesses, Austin said simply, “I am a believer.”
Not everyone involved with the family was inclined to believe its incredible story. And many readers will find Ammons’ supernatural claims impossible to accept.
But, whatever the cause of the creepy occurrences that befell the family — whether they were seized by a systematic delusion or demonic possession — it led to one of the most unusual cases ever handled by the Department of Child Services. Many of the events are detailed in nearly 800 pages of official records obtained by The Indianapolis Star and recounted in more than a dozen interviews with police, DCS personnel, psychologists, family members and a Catholic priest.
Ammons, who swears by her story, has been unusually open. While she spoke on condition her children not be interviewed or named, she signed releases letting The Star review medical, psychological and official records that are not open to the public — and not always flattering.
Furthermore, the family’s story is made only more bizarre because it involves a DCS intervention, a string of psychological evaluations, a police investigation and, ultimately, a series of exorcisms.
It’s a tale, they say, that started with flies.
In November 2011, Ammons’ family moved into a rental house on Carolina Street in Gary, a quiet lane lined with small one-story homes. Big black flies suddenly swarmed their screened-in porch in December, despite the winter chill.
“This is not normal,” Ammons’ mother, Rosa Campbell, remembers thinking. “We killed them and killed them and killed them, but they kept coming back.”
There were other strange happenings, too.
After midnight, Campbell and Ammons both said, they occasionally heard the steady clump of footsteps climbing the basement stairs and the creak of the door opening between the basement and kitchen. No one was there.
Even after they locked the door, the noise continued.
Campbell said she awoke one night and saw a shadowy figure of a man pacing her living room. She leaped out of bed to investigate, and found large, wet bootprints.
On March 10, 2012, Campbell said, the family’s unease turned to fear.
It was about 2 a.m. Normally, Campbell, Ammons and her children would have been asleep, but they were mourning the death of a loved one with a group of friends.
Ammons, who was in Campbell’s bedroom, startled everyone by screaming, “Mama! Mama!”
Campbell said she ran into her bedroom, where her then-12-year-old granddaughter and a friend were staying.
Ammons and Campbell said the 12-year-old was levitating above the bed, unconscious.
According to their account of events, Ammons and several others surrounded the girl, praying. Campbell said she remembers being terrified.
“I thought, ‘What’s going on?’ ” Campbell said. ” ‘Why is this happening?’ ”
Eventually, Campbell said, her granddaughter descended onto the bed. The girl woke up with no memory of what happened, Campbell said.
Campbell and Ammons said the people who were visiting that night refused to return.
Campbell says she remembers telling her daughter, “We need help. We need to talk to someone who knows how to deal with it.”
Campbell and Ammons said they didn’t know exactly what “it” was, but they believed it was something supernatural.
They called local churches, but most refused to listen.
Eventually, after listening to Campbell and Ammons talk about the house and visiting it, officials at one church told them the Carolina Street house had spirits in it. They recommended the family clean the home with bleach and ammonia, then use oil to draw crosses on every door and window.
At the church’s suggestion, Ammons said she poured olive oil on her three children’s hands and feet, then smeared oil in the shape of crosses on their foreheads.
Campbell and Ammons also told The Star they reached out to two clairvoyants, who said the family’s home was besieged by more than 200 demons. Their explanation made sense to Campbell and Ammons, they say, because it meshed with their Christian faith.
The best thing you can do is move, Ammons remembers the clairvoyants telling her. But moving wasn’t an option for the cash-strapped family.
Instead, Ammons said she took a clairvoyant’s advice and made an altar in the basement.
Ammons covered an end table with a white sheet, then placed a white candle and statue of Mary, Joseph and Jesus on it. She opened a Bible to Psalm 91.
She said she and another person donned white T-shirts and wound white scarves around their heads.
Also on a clairvoyant’s advice, they burned sage and sulfur throughout the house, starting upstairs and working their way down. The smoke was so thick they could hardly breathe.
Ammons drew a cross with the smoke.
The person she was with read Psalm 91 aloud as they moved through the house:
“You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.”
Ammons said nothing odd happened for three days. Then, things got worse.
The family said demons possessed Ammons and her children, then ages 7, 9 and 12. The kids’ eyes bulged, evil smiles crossed their faces, and their voices deepened every time it happened, Campbell and Ammons said.
Campbell said the demons didn’t affect her because she was born with protection from evil. She said she, and others like her, have a guardian who protects them.
Ammons said she felt weak, lightheaded and warm when she was possessed. Her body shook, and she said she felt out-of-control.
“You can tell it’s different, something supernatural.”
The youngest boy, then 7, sat in a closet talking to a boy that no one else could see. The other boy was describing what it felt like to be killed.
Campbell said the 7-year-old once flew out of the bathroom as if he’d been thrown, and a headboard once smacked into Ammons’ daughter, causing a wound that needed stitches.
The 12-year-old would later tell mental health professionals that she sometimes felt as if she were being choked and held down so she couldn’t speak or move. She said she heard a voice say she’d never see her family again and wouldn’t live another 20 minutes.
Some nights were so bad the family slept at a hotel.
Finally, in desperation, they went to their family physician, Dr. Geoffrey Onyeukwu, on April 19, 2012. Ammons said she told him what they were going through, hoping he might understand.
Onyeukwu told The Star it was “bizarre.”
“Twenty years, and I’ve never heard anything like that in my life,” he said. “I was scared myself when I walked into the room.”
He said he would not speak in more detail unless Ammons had “psychiatric clearance” for the waiver of confidentiality she had signed.
In his medical notes about the visit, Onyeukwu wrote “delusions of ghost in home” and “hallucinations.” He also wrote “history of ghost at home” and “delusional.”
What Ammons and Campbell say happened next also was detailed in a DCS report of a family case manager’s interviews with medical staff.
Campbell said Ammons’ sons cursed Onyeukwu in demonic voices, raging at him. Medical staff said the youngest boy was “lifted and thrown into the wall with nobody touching him,” according to a DCS report.
The boys abruptly passed out and wouldn’t come to, Campbell added. She cradled one boy in her arms; Ammons held the other.
Someone from the doctor’s office called 911. Onyeukwu said seven or eight police officers and multiple ambulances showed up.
“Everybody was … they couldn’t figure out exactly what was happening,” he recalled.
Police and emergency personnel took the boys to Methodist Hospital’s campus in Gary.
Ammons said hospital personnel laughed at her desire to anoint her sons in olive oil.
“I couldn’t talk to them,” she said, “so I talked to God.”
The boys woke up in the hospital. The older boy, then 9, acted rationally, but the youngest screamed and thrashed, Campbell said.
She said it took five men to hold him down.
Meanwhile, someone called DCS and asked the agency to investigate Ammons for possible child abuse or neglect. The caller, who is not named in the DCS report, speculated that Ammons might have a mental illness. The person believed the children were performing for Ammons, and she was encouraging their behavior.
DCS family case manager Valerie Washington was asked to handle the initial investigation. She gave the following account to police and in her intake officer’s report:
Hospital personnel examined Ammons and her children and found them to be healthy and free of marks or bruises. A hospital psychiatrist evaluated Ammons and determined she was of “sound mind.”
Washington interviewed the family in the hospital.
While she spoke with Ammons, the 7-year-old boy started growling with his teeth showing. His eyes rolled back in his head.
The boy locked his hands around his older brother’s throat and refused to let go until adults pried his hands open.
Later that evening, Washington and registered nurse Willie Lee Walker brought the two boys into a small exam room for an interview. Campbell joined them.
The 7-year-old stared into his brother’s eyes and began to growl again.
“It’s time to die,” the boy said in a deep, unnatural voice. “I will kill you.”
While the youngest boy spoke, the older brother started head-butting Campbell in the stomach.
Campbell grabbed her grandson’s hands and started praying.
What happened next would rattle the witnesses, and to some it would offer not only evidence but proof of paranormal activity.
According to Washington’s original DCS report — an account corroborated by Walker, the nurse — the 9-year-old had a “weird grin” and walked backward up a wall to the ceiling. He then flipped over Campbell, landing on his feet. He never let go of his grandmother’s hand.
“He walked up the wall, flipped over her and stood there,” Walker told The Star. “There’s no way he could’ve done that.”
Later, police asked Washington whether the boy had run up the wall, as though performing an acrobatic trick.
No, Washington told them. She said the boy “glided backward on the floor, wall and ceiling,” according to a police report.
Washington did not respond to The Star’s requests for comment.
But she told police she was scared when it happened and ran out of the room. As for Walker, Washington said, “he ran out of the room with me.”
“We didn’t know what was going on,” Walker told The Star. “That was crazy. I was like, ‘Everybody gotta go.’ ”
According to Washington’s report, they told a doctor what happened. The doctor, who did not believe them, asked the boy to walk up the wall again.
Walker said he told the doctor he doubted the boy could repeat the feat. “This kid was not himself when he did that,” Walker said.
The boy said he didn’t remember what happened and couldn’t do it, according to Washington’s report.
Walker, who said he previously believed in demons and spirits, thought the boy’s behavior had “some demonic spirit to it” but also was the result of a mental illness.
A police report quoted Washington saying she believed there could be an “evil influence” affecting the family.
Ammons said she spent the night at the hospital with her 7-year-old son while Campbell took Ammons’ daughter and older son to a relative’s home in Gary.
The next day was Ammons’ youngest son’s eighth birthday. Ammons said DCS officials asked Campbell to bring the older children back to the hospital, presumably to talk more about what happened.
The family celebrated the boy’s birthday by singing and eating a miniature cake. Then, Ammons said Washington told them the children wouldn’t be going home.
DCS took the emergency step of taking custody of the children without a court order.
“All of the children were experiencing (sic) spiritual and emotional distress,” Washington wrote in the DCS form.
Ammons told The Star she and her children cried because they didn't want to be separated.
"We'd already been through so much and fought so hard for our lives," she recalled. "It was obvious we were a team, and we were beating it — whatever we were fighting. We made it through together as a team, and they separated us."
So, the first part of this article gave us the reason to expect the increase in demonic activity the world is experiencing. Ouija Board…etc.
Then, of course we have the ‘ghost-hunters’ who have also increased activity in the world by channeling spirits during a ‘session’ in which they thought was just a ‘game’ until they realized something followed them home. I know someone who recently went to a cemetery and came home with deep scratches! This is not child’s play. It’s necromancy and it’s very dangerous.
Who comes to mind here? Zak Bagans. He is the host of Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures”. It’s a long running series in which they visit ‘haunted’ locations and make contact with demons. Yes, demons. Why? Because there is NO SUCH THING as ghosts.
Zachary Alexander “Zak” Bagans (born on April 5, 1977, in Washington, D.C) is the lead investigator and host of the series. Formerly working as a wedding DJ and sporting a membership in the American Society of Freemasons. No big surprise here!
If memory serves me correctly, I believe the very first episode “Bobby Mackey’s Music World” was where a demonic spirit followed Aaron home. That episode involved occult satanic activity.
Houghton Mansion S01 – E02
The mansion remained with the Houghton family until 1926 when the Free Masons purchased it from Florence Houghton. The Masons, shrouded in mystery back in this time period, held their secretive meetings within a “temple” they constructed within the confines of the mansion. Several modern-day aspects of the building feature frightening reminders of old masonic activity, with a bed of nails, an electric chair, and so on.

Halloween Special: Transylvania October 31, 2013
This is especially interesting to me because of the pictures which the ring on Zak’s finger, among other reasons.
He consistently wears Freemasonry symbolism on his clothing and jewelry. There’s no doubt about who his allegiance is toward. He had Nick Groff as his sidekick, and then brought in Aaron Goodwin as well. But, Aaron was obviously not trained. He was frightened and the camera man loved revealing it. Then, he acknowledged that a demon followed him home and eventually the presence caused his breakup of a relationship. Now, he’s part of the team and even wears the same symbolic clothing, etc. His appearance has even changed over a period of time.
The “I Am Haunted” book which Zak released is a perfect example of what’s going on. I do believe has demons, now how many and to what degree…who knows.
There was some publicity about Nick getting fired. Some speculated that during the Omen House investigation where Nick got burned on his chest, that it could have been a tipping point when Zak ordered Nick back into the house. This may have caused some friendship problems . Others believe it was just for show and nothing is real on the program.
I beg to differ. The elite want nothing more than to cause chaos in every home that tunes into this program and all others like it.
I’m discussing this as I lead up to the next part.
Please note that many people tried to prove this as a hoax!
Zak actually did an investigation into the house in Gary, Indiana…and that’s just the beginning!
Ephesians 6 (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I was watching some videos on YOUTUBE.COM. I was shocked at the exponential increase in paranormal and supernatural activity. I know that 20 years ago we didn’t have the technology which we possess now but come on…seriously. You can’t deny it.
The darkness in people has increased. A specific verse comes to mind:
Matthew 24 (KJV)
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
WOW! It reminds me of when I was a child and my mother was driving the car and the traffic was endless. She would say…”It’s like a flood gate opened.”
Same deal! Only this isn’t cars, people!
CHAINED & SHACKLED
There are places in this wicked world that we would rather not see, and it hangs on like dead weights, holding the world down.
We find ourselves asleep in our deeds. The drool has dried on our faces.
Some will surely get angry, and probably fight, should someone throw on the light.
It’s natural for people exposed to this light to throw up their hands and cover their eyes, but this is when people need to make a choice.
On the one hand, they might pull the covers up over their heads, choosing to stay in the bed of evil they’ve made for themselves, hoping that the light will go away.
On the other hand, they might choose to pull their hands down, slowly start to blink, and allow the pain of the light, knowing it won’t last, opening their eyes to see GOD in the doorway of their lives.
Ephesians 5 (KJV)
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For the most part, I’m level-headed. I’m not really prone to extremes in emotion, especially of the dark kind. But, we seriously need to take this subject to heart. It’s not going away, nor is it going to improve. No, it’s only getting worse. Exponentially!
We are The Potters clay and we cannot go to HIM contaminated.
This article IS NOT to aggrandize the elite, or evil but to EXPOSE the darkness. How do we fight the enemy if we know not how it functions.
John 3 (KJV)
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
People hate the light because it exposes their evil deeds.
From actual possession type scenes to people who are just full of hate. What’s the difference? Well, for those of you who don’t know….there are stages of possession.
INFESTATION – is when the entity makes itself known to you. You may experience the feeling of being watched; hear knocks or scratching on walls, whispers, sometimes growls, strange electrical occurrences that can’t be rationally explained and paranormal activity.
Manifestation happens when the spirit first makes its presence known. This can happen due to someone actually initiating contact (evocation) by using a Ouija Board, or channeling, etc. But then, the person begins to notice that they are not in control of this spirit any longer, in fact…it’s out of control.
OPPRESSION – One of their favorite tactics is making it difficult for the target to sleep, causing disturbing nightmares, unnatural sexual dreams and hallucinations. Another way is to find and expose any weaknesses, fears, guilt or grief and use them as a trigger. The person’s emotions are becoming negative and worrisome to those around them.
When this spirit manifests and actually infests the persons life by not only demonstrating their presence but actually manifesting in this realm. It’s become a dark passenger.
Some witches might actually lead you to believe that you can simply ‘wish’ away the spirit at this point but it’s much worse than that. You have invited this demon into your life and it has firm grasp. Its goal is to possess you (mind, body, soul).
POSSESSION – Is when the targets active free will has been breached and the entity has access to the body. At this point of possession, people will report blacking out or watching from above while the entity has control of their body.
At this point, you have allowed this demon to take control, or it’s out of your control. You may have actually felt it inside you, nesting. The more you fight against its external control, the more violent it will become.
Now, you’ve become a co-pilot. This becomes a merger between the individual and the spirit, until eventually there is no observable distinction between the person and the possessing spirit.
Now, that I’ve made it perfectly clear what to look for. You must understand there are people out there in life, on the internet and even your church who are teaching people these crafts. Even the cartoons your children watch are teaching them certain levels of witchcraft.
Giving away responsibility for yourself even for a moment is tantamount to Russian roulette. Being curious and playing with a pendulum (recently a customer was discussing this as an avenue to find out the sex of her child), a Ouija board, spirit photography or so-called “ghosthunting” (discussed in another part of this series), which is actually necromancy, is all it takes to get their cloven hoof in the door.
Permission is what they need. By hook or by crook they will get it. It is often on accident, bringing home an item that has an “attachment” with it. Even playing childhood games like “light as a feather stiff as a board” or “Bloody Mary”, will open gates that allow entities to wreak havoc in your families lives.
They will masquerade as the lonely ghost of the little girl who died in 1852 or dear old Mama who has recently passed to the other side and just wants to tell you she is okay.
We are talking about entities that have been around for thousands and thousands of years and are not hindered by three dimensional reality as we are.
They want your pity, to open your heart to them. In the end, they want your soul.
Satan attacks GOD, HIS Word, and Son, Jesus Christ and also The Holy Spirit in every way imaginable. He duplicates, twists and molds his own versions of what GOD plans. Sadly, many people get pulled into these lies. With The Holy Spirit guiding me to bring these subjects in hopes that people will see the truth and NOT fall for the lies.
EDITOR: First, we have The Bride. That’s us. Believer’s in Jesus Christ. He is the groom. So, of course…we have Satan and the evil parallel counterfeit to this:
It never fails that when I am researching for one article, The Holy Spirit reveals the subject of another! The story follows the Passover and the seven days of unleavened bread exactly. A blasphemous duplication…
You know how Satan duplicates everything of GOD and twists it for his evil purposes? Well, yet again…we have another connection. And “Chymical” is a parallel to ‘chemical’ as in Alchemy….black/white magic/witchcraft!
EDITOR: When Jesus Christ returns He considers this the Groom returning for His Bride. That’s us! Oh glory days…I am anticipating those times ahead. So what is the esoteric wedding, and what does it consist of?
“The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz (CRC) first appeared in Strasburg in the year 1616. It was written in German and entitled Chymische Hochzeit Christiani Rosencreutz anno 1459. No author was named in the book, other than Christian Rosenkreutz (henceforth CRC), but Johannes Valentinus Andreae (1586–1654) claimed to be the author, in his autobiography.
It is an allegoric romance (story) divided into Seven Days, or Seven Journeys, like Genesis, and tells us about the way Christian Rosenkreuz was invited to go to a wonderful castle full of miracles, in order to assist the Chymical Wedding of the king and the queen, that is, the husband and the bride.
This manifesto has been a source of inspiration for poets, alchemists (the word “chymical” is an old form of “chemical” and refers to alchemy—for which the ‘Sacred Marriage’ was the goal and dreamers, through the force of its initiation ritual with processions of tests, purifications, death, resurrection, and ascension and also by its symbolism found since the beginning with the invitation to Rosenkreutz to assist this Royal Wedding.
The Chymical Wedding is often described as the third of the original manifestos of the mysterious “Fraternity of the Rose Cross” (Rosicrucians), although it is markedly different from the Fama Fraternitatis and Confessio Fraternitatis in style and in subject matter.
The nine Lords are nine books of the New Testament, I Peter, II Peter, James, Jude, I John, II John, III John, the Gospel of John, and the Revelation. CRC believed that the Gospel of John is the only gospel that is historically plausible, and it’s the unleavened bread and its relationship to the Passover that truly divides John’s gospel from the synoptic Gospels. The nine lords were bound together with the rest that were at the table (27 total) and CRC cried.”
EDITOR: Do you see how they are making the disciples as divine entities…well, they aren’t. They were common people just like you and me! This obviously reveals the “lord” emphasis which the esoteric twist about.
“There remained nine of us, and among the rest he who discoursed with me at the table too. But although our small tapers did not leave us, yet soon after an hour’s time one of the aforementioned pages came in, and, bringing a great bundle of cords with him, first demanded of us whether we had concluded to stay there; when we had affirmed this with sighs, he bound each of us in a particular place, and so went away with our small tapers, and left us poor wretches in darkness. Then some first began to perceive the imminent danger, and I myself could not refrain from tears. For although we were not forbidden to speak, yet anguish and affliction allowed none of us to utter one word. For the cords were so wonderfully made that none could cut them, much less get them off his feet. Yet this comforted me, that still the future gain of many a one who had now taken himself to rest, would prove very little to his satisfaction.”
The Four Paths
“In the second chapter CRC sits down to rest under three tall cedars, there is a tablet fastened to one of them which tell of four paths. An important point is that it’s the Bridegroom (Bible) that is offering these paths, it reads as follows;
By us the Bridegroom offers you a choice between four ways, all of which, if you do not sink down in the way, can bring you to his royal court. The first is short but dangerous, and one which will lead you into rocky places, through which it will scarcely be possible to pass. The second is longer, and takes you circuitously; it is plain and easy, if by the help of the Magnet you turn neither to left nor right. The third is that truly royal way which through various pleasures and pageants of our King, affords you a joyful journey; but this so far has scarcely been allotted to one in a thousand. By the fourth no man shall reach the place, because it is a consuming way, practicable only for incorruptible bodies. Choose now which one you will of the three, and persevere constantly therein, for know whichever you will enter, that is the one destined for you by immutable Fate, nor can you go back in it save at great peril to life.”
EDITOR: A False Enlightenment! This is the left hand path. Only GOD can give us the TRUE enlightenment and I believe it truly comes with the transformation of leaving this dimension and moving into the next. Some people believe it’s when you are changed into a new person when we find Faith in GOD through HIS Son, Jesus Christ. This Jesus they speak of is NONE OTHER THAN the Antichrist! And this is the One World Government/One World Religion which the Ascended Masters are bringing for the Antichrist.
“The first path leads to rocky places and this is reminiscent of Peter, “the rock” as he’s portrayed in the synoptic gospels. The second path in the text is the path taught in John’s gospel, as CRC is told not to turn to the left or right on this path and John’s is the only account not to mention two men crucified to the right and to the left of Jesus while on the cross as thieves (John 20:18). The third path would be the general letters of Peter, James, Jude, and John. In the letter of James we find reference to the royal way or royal law (Jas 2:8). In the second letter of Peter we find the only reference to one in a thousand (II Pet 3:8). The fourth path is the letters of Paul. This is where one finds the teaching of the dead raised incorruptible (I Cor 15:52), and the only place that the word “consuming” appears in the New Testament (Heb 12:29).”
“The story then continues, Whereupon I presently drew out my bread and cut a slice of it. It shouldn’t go unnoticed that, after reading this tablet, CRC cuts the bread. Symbol XXIV of the symbols of Pythagoras indicates “Never break the bread”. Bread is broken in the gospels of Mark, Luke, and Matthew; however bread is never broken in John’s gospel. Bread is also broken in the letters of Paul and the Book of Acts; however bread is never broken in the general letters of Peter, James, Jude and John.
As the story proceeds it’s evident that CRC took the second path with the following words, yet I still proceeded with my compass, and would not budge one step from the Meridian Line. Meaning that CRC didn’t turn to the left or right. It’s also noteworthy that CRC says, “I patiently took up my cross, got up onto my feet”. Only in John’s gospel did Jesus bear the cross. It was Simon of Cyrene who bore the cross for Jesus in Mark, Luke and Matthew’s gospels. But at the same time in Mark’s gospel Jesus offered a man “take up the cross, and follow me”(Mark 10:21).”
EDITOR: Simon who bore the cross? Really! Come on….
The Human Being as Microcosm
“Another fundamental Rosicrucian concept is the idea of the human being as a microcosm or world in miniature – a system of visible and invisible vehicles surrounded by a magnetic field and bounded by a ‘microcosmic firmament’, or ‘lipika.’ This idea is in accordance with the hermetic axiom, ‘as above, so below.’ ”
The Stages of Transfigurism
“The path of transfiguration comprises five main stages:
Insight into the real nature of this earthly domain of existence and experience of the inner call to return to the divine nature order.
Genuine yearning for salvation.
The surrender of the I-central self to the inner divine spark, so that the process of salvation can be realized.
A new approach to life, adopted and carried out spontaneously under the guidance of the inner divine spark. The chief characteristics of this new approach to life are described, for instance, in the Sermon on the Mount.
Fulfilment: the awakening (or resurrection) in the original life-field.”
This is an agenda for form people’s opinions toward a ‘conscious path of enlightenment’. The “ONE” consciousness….there is nothing that Satan won’t try to twist and pervert. You see the Original One is GOD, The Father, Jesus Christ, The Son of GOD, and The Holy Spirit. Also Marriage is a sacred ceremony meant to bring two together as one in the love which GOD intended. Satan’s process is to take this and bring into it a DEAD spirit (literally)…beware what doctrines you believe. Why? Because this is the exact reason so many people are being led astray.
Guardians of Paradise
Lucifer is a fallen angel who was the head of the ministry of music in Heaven when he was in heaven. It has been said of him he was the most beautiful of ALL angels and he was the director of the flow of music (Praise and Worship).
Well, obviously he no longer is but there are several scriptural references throughout The Bible which denote his previous authority over music when he was in heaven. One such example: Isaiah 14:11 – “Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.”
This verse is speaking of his fall from heaven, and how all of the glory he had, and the gifts he retained. The noise of thy viols indicates the stringed instruments he had charge over. But actually throughout The Bible in passages in the books of Ezekiel, Job, Isaiah, even Psalm speaking of his past life…revealing he was the minister of music. Of course this is no longer the case. But, he does influence the world…so much so that it has become addictive…music that is.
Lucifer is referred to as a morning star.
Example: Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.
Lucifer was literally – a walking talking musical instrument.
Ezekiel 28 (KJV)
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
In the Hebrew, the word for “settings” is toph which means timbrel, which is a musical instrument. Likewise, the Hebrew word for “sockets” is neqeb and means “pipes, grove, hole.”
Isaiah 14 (KJV)
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
The Seraphim (singular “Seraph”), mentioned in Isaiah 6:1-7 , serve as the caretakers of GOD’s throne and continuously singing his praises: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. All the earth is filled with His Glory.” It is said that they surround the throne of GOD, singing the music of the spheres and regulating the movement of the heavens as it emanates from GOD. In art, Seraphim are often red (because of their names ‘burning ones’) and are shown holding a flaming sword with the words ‘holy, holy, holy’ on the blade.
It is also said that such a bright light emanates from them that nothing, not even other divine beings, can look upon them. It is said that there are four of them surrounding GOD’s throne, where they burn eternally from love and zeal for GOD.
The Seraphim have six wings; two covering their face, two covering their feet, and two that they fly with.
The Cherubim (singular “Cherub”) are beyond the throne of GOD; they are the guardians of light and of the stars. It is believed that, although they are removed from man’s plane of reality, the divine light that they filter down from Heaven still touches the lives of living things.
They have four faces/four wings: one of a man, ox, lion, and eagle. The ox-face is considered the “true face”, as later on in Ezekiel 10, the ox’s face is called a cherub’s face. They have eight conjoined wings covered with eyes, and they have ox’s feet.
Cherubim are considered the elect beings for the purpose of protection. Cherubim guarded the Garden of Eden and the throne of GOD.
They are always categorized in the First Sphere, it seems. Some believe them to be an order or class of angels; others hold them to be a class of heavenly beings higher than angels.
The Cherubim are mentioned in Genesis 3:24 ; Ezekiel 10:17-20 ; and 1 Kings 6:23-28.
Some are confused as to the class of angel which Lucifer/Satan is. I’m not going to debate this. But I will say he may have been above both of these…we don’t really know for sure. The Latin name Lucifer is used for this creature, but this is a flawed translation and has confused many.
The Hebrew stresses him as “the shining one,” his original state before the fall. He was first among the angels in heaven; he was a light bearer, a morning star and is now fallen from his position he was appointed to. He then became known as Satan, the adversary to GOD.
Unlike other Seraphim who had six wings, Lucifer was featured to have twelve wings. If this is the case, then wouldn’t he be in a class in and of himself?
(He flies through the air like a bird (Targ. to Job xxviii. 7), and, while the ḥayyot and ofannim have only six wings, he has twelve, and commands a whole army of demons (Pirḳe R. El. xiii.). )
Lucifer/Satan was a magnificent being with a unique ministry. His role was different from the other angelic hosts. Lucifer was referred to as the ‘covering angel.’
He was a step above the other angels, not only in appearance but also in intellect. Lucifer’s wisdom far exceeded that of other angelic beings. He understood the ways of GOD, and this is WHY he is able to duplicate and put his own twist on everything of GOD.
Since Lucifer/Satan seemed to have been greater than the other beings, he is thought to be the chief of music. Lucifer was given the gift of music. The master of deception became so enamored with himself that his pride became his downfall. And now, music is an important part of his agenda today.
The slow chant often has a hypnotic effect, and a lullaby has more than once quieted a serious heart flutter.
The chant is heard in the Roman Catholic church but few know that a chant it is common in yoga, and is used to connect the human soul to evil spirits. Chants or mantras spoken or sung for the purpose of opening the mind to undefined spiritual influences are dangerous. It can place a person in a trance, and this is dangerous. I’m reminded of the fact that satanists use these techniques to summon demons. Inherently it’s supposedly not evil but basically it can be used for evil purposes.
Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s in Germany. It is characterized by a tempo of between 110 and 150 beats per minute, repeating melodic phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track. The whole point of trance music is to put you into “A state of Trance.”
The modern Greek word ‘pan’ translates to “everything” or “all” but the truest form of translation is the Greek word “pa” which translates “Guardian of the flocks.” Pan’s first role was that of the shepherd, the guardian between the civilization and wild, to that of the natural and supernatural.
Doesn’t that fit the scenario of Satan? He mimics Jesus Christ in everything he does and this is a perfect example. Jesus Christ is our Shepherd! Not Satan, that’s for sure.
One of the instruments that Pan used was his syrinx, or pan flute. The music of the syrinx was known to make people dance and lower their inhibitions. The sound filled people with the lustful nature of Pan, and as a result, they often lost control.
Some believe gifts are meant for the good of the receiver…but this simply is not true. Gifts are from GOD….and meant to be utilized for GOD! HE specifically gives us gifts as a test. Are you using yours?
Even the angels are given gifts!
Music is a divine gift. One gift which The Bible is clear about. The angels just didn’t say their praise, they sang it! They sing continuously. They do not rest, day nor night….singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord GOD Almighty, who was, and is and is to come.”
Not many people know this but Psalms is a book which is ALL SONGS! Awesome, right?
Music is powerful! Few deny the enormous power that music can exert.
The gift of music accompanies the very highest of gifts…FAITH!
Thus the name given to worship: the divine service.
Music in the world serves the pleasure of man, but in the church music serves the purpose of GOD.
At one time, the church was meant as two or more coming together in THE NAME of Jesus Christ. Now? It’s the people themselves who are the church. And though the world is allowed to freely use music, the church is not.
Music is accompanied by skill, discernment, a Godly spirit, attention to the theme, a careful vigilance over a power that could harm souls, and the highest purpose which is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our hearts are evil and full of deceit and desperately wicked, and would surely lead us to hell if we didn’t have GOD.
You see, music without discipline is wrong.
Everything Satan does is in small increments. This allows his purpose to remain hidden until its obvious. And the fact that music is ultimately meant for worshiping GOD, when its mixed with carnality…it becomes evil.
What few realize is that the spirits behind Rock and Roll, include: the spirit of rebellion, immorality and perversion, spirit of death, and has been woven into the church under the guise of religious.
The world’s tendency to do as it wishes with music must never be envied by the church. Capricious music is even seen in the churches of the world.
A PERFECT example of this? Hillsong ‘Church’ Music…
John 12 (KJV)
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
“UNITED first revealed the black and white striped cover art for EMPIRES 95,000 feet from space, presenting the artwork literally from the stratosphere on their website and social media channels.”
As Bruce Herwig reveals in his blog,
As I studied Hillsong as an organization, they seem to be organized around Six “C”s
1. Churches (Hill Song Church plus International plants)
2. Concerts (Tours)
3. CDs (Extensive discography Amazon.com)
4. Conferences (Hillsong Church Conference, Women’s Color Conference)
5. College (Hillsong Leadership College)
6. Cinema (Hillsong Movie)
From a marketing and communication perspective, this is genius! Each one is designed to feed the other. Hear the song in church? Buy the album. Like the album? Come to a Concert. Like the Concert? Come to a Conference. Like the Conference? Attend our college, join our church, etc.
Prosperity Gospel is a common denominator!
The super-abundant money makers! Many of the so-called preachers today are more centered around their CD’s,….their books,…their ways of prospering from the framework of GOD!
Shifting the gears of gold. The well-oiled spokes of the wheel of wealth. Well ordered works of Satan.
So it is obvious that Lucifer, at the very least, contained something akin to musical instruments – the tambourine, the flute, and the harp all within the confines of his own body. Since Lucifer is a created being, he was originally created with instruments to provide beautiful music for none other than the glorification of GOD. Lucifer, being the most authoritative and superior angel that he was, at best, was also probably the angel of music.
The point of this study is to see, purely from a theological view, if in fact Satan has a connection with and a direct influence on music, which has become undoubtedly clear that he does.
Most music that I believe is heavily influenced by Satan. The lyrics to most of these songs are not worth repeating. Some of which glorify violence, sex, drunkenness, drugs, etc. Today’s ungodly music, worms it’s way into our homes, our cars, and ultimately influencing our hearts and minds.
There have even been scientific studies proving the fact that music influences our psyche and the outcome of our behavior is contingent upon the type of music we choose to listen to.
Not all music, secular or not, is inherently evil. Just as Satan has an influence on music, GOD has HIS influence on music as well, even more so. In fact, it has been historically proven fact that Jesus Christ has been the subject of more songs, music, stories, poetry, prose, screenplays, literature, art, etc. than any other subject in the history of mankind.
As with anything in life, it is up to our own discretion and spiritual discernment to decide what is and is not appropriate for our listening pleasure. It is also up to us as parents to set standards and to monitor what our children/teens are listening to. What goes in the body is what comes out through the way in which we live our lives.
What comes out of a man is what makes him `unclean.’ For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery.
So ask yourself, “Do I know what kind of music I’m listening to?”
Better yet, “Do I know what kind of music my kids are listening to?”
